Matthew has been paddling since he was 4! That’s almost 40 years on the water although, keep it quiet. He has a degree in Marine and Environmental Science and loves to talk about the natural environment and local history. He has been working for Australian Canoeing for years and has taken over 1700 clients paddling since 2010. In 2012 he was also awarded the Queensland Guide / Instructor of the year by Australian Canoeing.
Safety and fun is his main focus.
He has a real passion and loves to share it with others
Julie is the organizer of the group! She will explain all you need to know and will take your bookings! She loves nothing more than to get in the water and have a paddle and a splash although we rarely let her get away from the office.
Mosey and Isabel are our little helpers and you will often see them at Boambee Creek Reserve paddling and splashing around. Beware Mosey’s non-stop chatter as he loves a chat about all sorts of weird and wonderful things. Isabel loves nothing more
than helping out and is our behind the scenes assistant.
