A huge thankyou to all those who participated in helping with Clean Up Australia Day at Boambee Creek. 
From the responses we received, it sounds like everyone enjoyed kayaking up the river and help clean up the mess that was left behind from the floods. The Reserve is now looking great again and the new caretakers, Steve and Leayanna and their kids have also done an amazing job cleaning up the damage from the storms. Apparently the kiosk will be re-open in the next couple of weeks so we’ll all be looking forward to a fresh cuppa after a paddle in Sawtell’s best creek.
