C-Change adventures were fortunate enough to host a great bunch of local kid’s for Jack’s 6th birthday party. Fourteen awesome kids paddled off for a kayak birthday, many for their first time in a kayak. We had an incoming tide so were able to paddle out beyond the railway bridge of Boambee Creek. We rafted up and took it in turns to stand up kayak, even the adults had a go!
We then headed over to the island for further kayak ball games and dizzy kayaks and kayak paddle limbo before heading back to catch some yabbies for ‘yabbie racing’. We then contested the Boambee Creek World Record for number of kids on a kayak before heading back to Sawtell’s Boambee Creek Reserve for some well deserved refreshments.
