A Big THANK YOU to all of you who came along and grabbed a FREE kayak to help Clean Up Boambee Creek! It was great to see so many people come along and join us on our annual clean up! A special thankyou to all the Scouts from Sawtell as you made a special effort as well as their leaders! We managed to collect 22 bags with 7 of these being able to be recycled. Well done everyone and hope to see you for a special discounted paddle in the near future.
They were the quickest learners of Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Coffs Harbour we’ve had!. The rest of her family will be jealous they didn’t give it a go also as they decided to sleep in!
There was no wind and even though the tide was low, they had a memorable and fantastic time. They learnt heaps of moves and SUP techniques that they wouldn’t have learnt by just hiring – they can now teach their sleepyhead brother and dad!
C-Change Adventures Support Beyond Blue
Tony & Michael will be departing the Brisbane CBD from the Kangaroo Point foreshore under the famous Story Bridge at 6am on 27th December 2013. The pair will commence their 920km journey to Sydney with the hope of covering between 30 to 50km per day, reachin…g Bondi Beach in New South Wales on Australia Day the 26th January 2014. The pair will have a support crew following them via car as they travel south along the coast that will rehydrate and feed the pair along their journey. As the night falls, they will scramble to the shore to eat, feed and allow their aching muscles to recover, whilst preparing themselves for the next leg the following day. Throughout the journey Tony & Michael will be updating this website with photos and videos showing the progress and obstacles faced and hopefully their efforts will prompt numerous donations to the charity, Beyond Blue.

I’ts a Winner!
C-Change adventures were fortunate enough to host a great bunch of local kid’s for Jack’s 6th birthday party. Fourteen awesome kids paddled off for a kayak birthday, many for their first time in a kayak. We had an incoming tide so were able to paddle out beyond the railway bridge of Boambee Creek. We rafted up and took it in turns to stand up kayak, even the adults had a go!
We then headed over to the island for further kayak ball games and dizzy kayaks and kayak paddle limbo before heading back to catch some yabbies for ‘yabbie racing’. We then contested the Boambee Creek World Record for number of kids on a kayak before heading back to Sawtell’s Boambee Creek Reserve for some well deserved refreshments.
Thanks to our first group for Youth Week who came along for a C-Change Adventure. We had awesome weather and the guys had a ball splashing, sabotaging eachother, stand up kayaking, and just cruisin’ up the river. Am sure we’ll see you again sometime! Thanks to those at Mission Australia for helping out.

Join us for an easter egg hunt via kayak at Boambee Creek Reserve. We are heavily discounting this event as we have kids of our own and understand what a special day this is for them. We want the kids to havea safe and enjoyable easter in a different way than usual ! It will only cost $8 per person and we will go fo a fun paddle and search for easter eggs and play some kayak games. This event will take place at 10 am until 11 am on Sunday morning. Give us a call on 0468 406 222 for further information. Happy Easter everyone!
Wow! What a night! Conditions do not get much better than this for exploring Boambee Creek via Kayak. We had a perfect tide to meander up one of Sawtell’s best kept secrets, a leisurely canoe eco-cruise up the creek at sunset and returning as night falls to see the nightlife including bats flapping overhead as the moon rose above. The southern cross pointed the way home as we paddled back to Boambee Creek Reserve on an enchanting evening. Thanks to the wonderful company that made for one of my best nights ever!
C-Change Adventures was fortunate enough to host a Seniors Week event in conjunction with Coffs Harbour Council. A relaxing paddle out toward the river mouth before we gently paddled up riverwith the tide having a rest at the Jewfish Hole before heading up to the bridge linking Sawtell with Coffs Harbour. A slightly more strenuous paddle back against the slowly incoming tide back where we spotted the resident red backed sea eagle and some egrets and also a pair of osprey high above. Thanks to all who came on this first Seniors week event we have been involved in. I really enjoyed your company and hope to see you again in the future. Matt
